Nigeria’s digital landscape is set for a major transformation as Rack Centre, West Africa’s leading data centre, teams up with global edge-cloud giant EdgeNext to expand the nation’s digital infrastructure and cloud ecosystem.
The partnership, announced in Lagos, aims to make internet connections faster, cloud services more reliable, and data more secure — setting the stage for Nigeria to become a regional hub for digital innovation.

With this alliance, Rack Centre will integrate EdgeNext’s edge-computing and content-delivery technologies, which help deliver digital services and online content faster by processing data closer to users. EdgeNext, which operates in more than 30 global markets, said it views Nigeria as the gateway to Africa’s next wave of digital growth. The company plans to deploy its high-performance edge nodes at Rack Centre’s world-class Tier III facility in Lagos, linking African businesses to the rest of the world with low-latency connections and enhanced data security.
