Aptech Targets Digital Skills Gap with 2026 National Convocation

As Nigeria continues its push to build a competitive digital economy, technology education provider Aptech Nigeria is set to celebrate a new generation of digital professionals through its 2026 National Convocation.The event, scheduled for August 8, 2026, at the Sheraton Lagos Hotel, will honour graduates who have completed training in technology and digital skills, while highlighting the growing importance of industry-ready talent in Nigeria’s fast-evolving digital landscape.Held under the theme “One Milestone. Many Futures.”, the convocation will bring together graduates, alumni, employers, education partners, and technology industry leaders to celebrate academic achievement and strengthen professional networks.With organisations across banking, telecommunications, healthcare, manufacturing, and government increasingly adopting artificial intelligence, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and data-driven technologies, the demand for skilled digital professionals continues to rise.Speaking on the significance of the event, Kallol Mukherjee, Head of International Business at Aptech, described the convocation as more than a graduation ceremony.”Convocation is not only about receiving recognition.
